Chandra Bose (Lyricist)


Chandrabose is an Indian lyricist who writes songs for Tollywood films. He was also a playback singer at the start of his motion picture career.
Chandrabose is from the Challagariga of Warangal district, where he completed high school.[citation needed] He earned a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Hyderabad.[citation needed] He has written music for 520 movies to date, with over 1500 songs to his name.[citation needed] Early in his career, He tried working as a singer in Doordarshan, without success.[citation needed] He then decided to switch to working as a lyricist.[citation needed]

His friend Srinath, who suggested the change, introduced him to the director Muppalaneni Siva.[citation needed] Siva had already directed Gharana Alludu and was starting production on Taj Mahal.[citation needed] Music director M.M. Sreelekha helped him with his first movie song, "manchu konDallOni chandramaa", in 1995.
